• Do not place flammable items indoors to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

• Do not place a damaged water heater indoors to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

• It is recommended to replace gas water heaters with forced exhaust type water heaters or electric water heaters.

• When performing the Heimlich maneuver, call 119 first.

Hello, everyone.

This is Andy.

As the weather turns colder, it's time for the season of "Dong Pian Tea."

"Dong Pian Tea" is produced after winter tea and before the start of spring.

Due to the cold climate, its production is relatively limited.

If the weather is cold enough, the tea leaves produced may appear "fluorescent green."

The tea liquor is a "bright yellow," resembling a vitamin drink.

This color results from the destruction of chlorophyll due to low temperatures.

Additionally, the withering oxidation process is difficult to proceed,

giving the tea leaves a grassy flavor, which is a unique characteristic of Dong Pian Tea.

While making tea, paying attention to "ventilation" is especially important.

Shaoqing (tea fixing) is usually conducted indoors, and the heat source is gas.

With the cold weather, doors and windows are often kept closed,

which might lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Particularly in high-altitude areas, after tea-making,

If the water heater is installed indoors or has been in use for over ten years and is too old.

a faulty water heater's exhaust could cause poisoning to the showering workers or even the entire factory staff.

Also, avoid burning items indoors in the tea factory for warmth.

With the upcoming New Year celebrations,

eating and drinking in excess might lead to choking incidents.

If this happens, perform the "Heimlich maneuver" immediately and call 119.

The Heimlich maneuver must be done quickly, not slowly.

If the choking victim collapses, perform CPR right away.

This method has the same effectiveness as the Heimlich maneuver.

Do not attempt to dislodge objects by "patting the back."

For infants, objects can only be dislodged by turning them upside down before patting the back.

The New Year is a season prone to fires, so please take precautions.

If you have time, visit your parents and check whether their "water heater" is safe.

If you're unsure, contact your local fire department.

Low-income families may apply for water heater subsidies.

If you feel dizzy while taking a hot shower,

it's likely not because the water is too hot but due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Finally, I would like to thank the Zhushan Fire Department for their guidance.

Happy Firefighters' Day to all the firefighters in advance.
